The Candy Cane Girl is based on the Christmas Candy canes the infuse of the red and white. I added a touch of gold to represent the Christmas as it is one the main candy of that time of season.
For the eyes I applied white eyeshadow all over the lip using white base to help accentuate the white more I also made the eyebrows white as well. I then used a red eyeshadow in to the inner corner of the eyes blending it in to the crease of the eyes. I then applied a white liner on the bottom eyelid winging it out more. I didn't apply any lashes but only mascara as I didn't want to draw attention away from the eyes.
For the cheeks I applied a brown contour colour and then used MAC vanilla pigment on the cheeks to use as a highlighter to give a shimmer effect.
For the lips I applied MAC Retro matte in feel so grad. I then applied a bit of highlighter on to the cupids bow and chin.
For the hair my model is wearing a short white bob wig.
I am pleased with this look however the wig was the downfall a little bit. I had ordered this wig online and it didn't come out how it looked in the images. It was more of a cheaper quality synthetic wig. By the time I had received this wig it was too late to buy another one as it arrived to close towards the scheduled shoot. There was no time to change how every it is not all bad it did come out not as bad as i thought it would it took a while ti actually get the shape and adjustments of the structure of the hair to come out but when the whole look came together it complimented each other. This has taught me to actually not to order wigs online and actually go in to a hair show and buy the wig from a shop.
