Candy Floss Girl Profile Images Unedite

This look was inspired by Candy Floss. It is also a park of my memories when I go to Brighton seaside. Since young the two things I loved having in Brighton was candy floss and a can of fizzy this image a representation of the items that make me take a trip down to memory lane with the family on the rocky beach. The eye make-up is representation of the colours of the candy floss, the hair structure is a representation of the shape of candy floss. The cans in the hair is a symbolic item of what the two sugary things I personally enjoy together when I go to the beach.

For the eyes I used the two MAC pigments from the flamingo park range. I first applied applied the green colour in the middle of the eyes and blended it up to the brow bone. I then applied pink to the inner corner and outer corner of the eyes blending them into the green. I then got a fluffy eyeshadow blush after applying glitter glue on the eyebrows and above the brows. With my loose fluffy brush the then flicked the eyeshadow on the brows and forehead to create a more splatter effect.

For the lips I used MAC retro matte liquid lip colour in personal statement. Before I applied that I first lined the lips with a lip pencil then applied the lip colour.

For the hair I crimped from the ear downwards as I wanted the top of the hair straight and the end crimped. I then created three braids where I was going to apply the coke cans so I have an anchor for the pins. I then took a section of the hair and rolled the hair on to the cans and then pinned them down. I used hair spray to stick down any fly aways so it looked smooth. I then repeated the process again. For the ends of the hair and how I created the shape. I first brushed out the crimped hair then back combed it slightly to make it look much mire bigger. I then tucked the hair inwards and pinned the ends in.

For this look I am so happy it finally came out how I actually wanted it to look as on my timed assessment it didn't come out so well since my models hair was too long. So I re-planned for my final images what kind of model and hair length I needed to use in order to get the look I was trying to create. I also changed the make-up look from my timed assessment as I wanted the colours to look as though they popped out much more. However looking at these images I feel as though that I could have smoothen my models edges much more and I see a few fly aways that need should of been fixed. The eyelashes does not stand as much as I wanted it to. If I re-do this look I should definitely consider using bigger lashes to create a more dramatic effect. The pink body shading I think I shouldn't of add it and should have left it out.
