Blow Drying

For all blow drying first you need to:
  • Wash the hair.
  • Then apply mousse from tip to root if you want the extra volume (only apply a small amount in wet hair).
  • If roots are damaged apply some serum to the hair to give it that shine.
  • Section the hair in to three and start from the back.
  • Take neat sections as this is important to achieve sleek smooth finish.
  • Face the direction of the blow dryer towards you as you want to smoothen the cuticle down. This will give you a smooth finish.
Volume Blow Dry
For volume blow dry the aim is to achieve root lift to get that lovely volumised hair.
  • Use a round brush medium/big size depending on the hair.
  • Take a section from the bottom working your way up.
  • start from the root and apply blow dryer direction towards you.
  • when brushing through your section pull up giving the roots a lift.
  • Repeat process.

Curl Blow Dry

  • Take a neat section.
  • Use a round brush.
  • First blow dry through get the hair to an angle going up to get root lift
  • brush through and apply heat.
  • Wrap the hair around the brush and apply heat from blow dryer to get the curl shape.
  • Once done hold the brush for a few seconds to let it cool and set.
  • Then pull the brush out and twist the hair back in to a barrel curl and pin in to place
  • leave it to set.

Straight Blow Dry
The aim is to get sleek straight hair.

  • Use a Paddle brush.
  • Take neat sections.
  • Don't take any sections bigger then the brush.
  • Once you have your section get the blow dryer to an angle towards you and blow-dry downwards. This will help to smoothen the cuticles and achieve lovely sleek hair.
  • Repeat process.
